The Menominee Casino Resort business is running full tilt, all the while being under construction. Phase I of the construction project includes a 13,000 square foot Convention Center being added on to the hotel with a banquet hall big enough to host weddings and functions for up to 600 guests. The project includes 5 large breakout meeting rooms, plus an outdoor cabana bar party area off a new much larger indoor swimming pool. All 100 hotel rooms are also being totally remodeled to bring them up to a 3 ˝ star AAA rating. The front desk has moved to the hallway just off the banquet rooms and Forest Island Restaurant. A huge overflow parking lot south of the Bingo Hall has been developed with two shuttles running daily to accommodate guests with car to door service. The project should be completed in late Fall of 2010.The Casino features over 880 slot machines including 32 new Class II slot machines in the Crystal Palace just off the Bingo Hall. Bingo and Class II machines are eligible for play by 18-20 year olds. Bingo is played everyday except Tuesdays, and holds up to 440 players. The main casino also offers Blackjack, Let It Ride, 3 Card Poker, Craps & Roulette, along with a Live Poker Room with 8 tables. The Spirit Lounge offers beverage and food service and hosts free entertainment most Wednesdays through Saturdays throughout the year.
